The final match of the inter house table tennis tournament for boys was played between Narmada and Godavari. Narmada were the winners of the tournament after beating Godavari.

The final positions of the four houses in this tournament are:
First Position: Narmada house
Second Position: Godavari house
Third Position: Krishna house
Fourth Position: Mahanadi house
Kanak Malu was declared the Best Player of the tournament.

The final match of boys’ basketball tournament was played between Narmada and Mahanadi, which Mahanadi won by a score of 45-28.

The final positions of the four houses in this tournament are:
First Position: Mahanadi house
Second Position: Narmada house
Third Position: Godavari house
Fourth Position: Krishna house
Anay Daga of Mahanadi house was declared the Best Player of the tournament.

The inter house Table Tennis Tournament for boys started off with two matches being played simultaneously. One was between Godavari and Krishna where Godavari turned out to be the winners. The other match was between Narmada and Mahanadi in which Narmada beat Mahanadi.

In the Maharashtra State Open Squash Championship, held on 15th and 16th July 2017 at the Garkheda Krida Sankul, Aurangabad, the following students of NVS gave a commendable performance:

Arya Patil of Std VII won a silver medal in the Under 14 girls category in team as well as individual events.

Alouki Bobde of Std IX won a silver medal in the Under 17 girls category in team as well as individual events.

Jaskirat Chabbda od Std IX won a silver medal in the Under 17 girls category in team events. Amruta Kachole of std XII won a silver medal in the Under 19 girls category in team events. Om Karwa, Jeet Jain & Vismay Totla of Std VIII won a silver medal in the Under 14 team events of boys, while Om Karwa won a Silver medal in the Under 14 individual events of boys also.

Ishaan Mahajan and Gautam Padhi of Std X won a Gold medal in the team as well as individual events of the Under -17 boys category.

The excitement of the inter house football tournament was at its peak as Godavari and Krishna faced each other in the final match. This was another very close game which ended only after the penalty shoot outs. In the Penalty shoot-out, Godavari turned out to be better than Krishna and won the tournament.

Tushar Rajput of Godavari house was declared the Best Player of the tournament.

The boys’ inter house basketball tournament took off with a match between Godavari and Narmada, which was won by Narmada with a score 57 – 23.

The final match of inter house basketball tournament for girls was played between Mahanadi and Krishna. Krishna House won the tournament after beating Mahanadi in a nail biting thriller. The final score was 27-26 in favor of Krishna. Tejasvi Deshpande played well for Krishna house.

First Position: Krishna house
Second Position: Mahanadi house
Third Position: Godavari house
Fourth Position: Narmada house
Vishakha Deshpande of Krishna house was declared the Best Player of the tournament.

The Inter house football tournament kicked off with a match between Godavari and Krishna. Both the teams played at par with each other due to which the match ended in a draw with a score of 2 each.

The inaugural match of inter house basketball tournament for girls was played between Godavari and Narmada in which Godavari beat Narmada by a score of 52-23. Isha Kandakure played well for Godavari house, scoring 24 points for her team.

On the occasion of the 25th Foundation Day, two matches were held amongst the current NVS team and the Alumni team. In the Basketball match, NVS team beat the Alumni team by a score of 35-24. Similarly in the Cricket match between the two also NVS team turned out to be the winners.

Shail XI became the new champions of the Lokmat Times Presents Nath Valley Alumni Premier League. In the title clash they beat UM Renegades in a one sided match.

Season 2 of NVAPL ended with the Basketball finals. Defending champions "Warriors" played the crowd favourite "Bouncers". Final scores 44-29 and Warriors were crowned champion once again!

Nath Valley Alumni Premier League started off with a lot of fanfare. It included matches of cricket and basketball. Alumni registered in huge numbers to participate in these events.

In the State Level Fencing Championship held from 19th May 2017 to 21st May 2017 in Saber, Kashish Bharad of Std VI won the following medals:

  •     Gold medals in under 12 and under 14 categories
  •     Silver medal in under 23 youth category
  •     Bronze medals in under 17, under 19, under 14 in foil and under 14 in Apee categories.
