Yoga is a way of living that aims towards a healthy mind in a healthy body thus providing for the balanced development of an individual.
Nath valley school celebrated 3rd international yoga day on Wednesday, June 21st 2017 .
All the students right from Std I to Std XII participated in the Yoga session along with their teachers and performed various yoga asanas to the tune of light and refreshing music.
Students performed asanas like, the Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Vajraasana, Hastpadmaasana, Trikonasana, Bhadraasana to name a few. The importance of each posture was also explained to the students by the instructors simultaneously.
The campus resounded with the recital of OM and the shantimantra for promoting universal good and peace.
The session ended with meditation and shavasan.
