Independence Day celebration at Nath valley School
“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”

It was a red-letter day in the history of India when the country got her freedom on August 15, 1947. It took hundreds of years to break shackles of slavery and attain freedom. Nath Valley School celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm.

Principal, Mr.Dass hoisted the national flag at 9.00 am on the school ground. It was a proud moment when the National Anthem was sung echoed by the chants of Jai Hind.

The cultural programme began with speeches made by senior teachers underlining the significance of the historic day. They advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country. The speeches highlighted the supreme sacrifice made by our martyrs for the country and urged the students to value their freedom and work towards making it better.

A patriotic song composed by the music department of the school was sung melodiously by the choir.

Students cleaned their rooms and adjoining areas as shramdaan activity keeping in line with the swachata abhiyaan launched in the country. They were supervised by teachers and student leaders. The programme was well organized to venerate Mother India and to reinforce the importance of freedom.

“Legacy to live and legacy to die for.”
