“A dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievement.”

The time was pleasant for all Nath Vallians to rise up and say- ‘We have accomplished the success and glory’ as the Nath Valley School celebrated 25 years of its journey through the educational mission to prepare themselves for a future of their choice as proud Indians.

On 29th June, the silver-jubilee celebration began with a special morning assembly presented by the students of primary section. Students showcased their talent by portraying the characters of successful Indians with enthusiasm, fun and frolic. A motivational speech was delivered by three students of secondary section. The assembly was graced by Mr. Devendra Kapadia, first vice-principal of NVS.

Mr. Satish Mathur, director General of police (Maharashtra) was the chief guest for the cultural programme held later in the day .He was accompanied by trustees Mr. Arvind Machhar-current chairperson, Mr. Nandkishore Kagliwal-first chairperson of Nath Valley School, Mr. N. K. Gupta, Mr. Mukund Bhogle, Mr. Madhusudan Agrawal, Mr. Rishi Bagla, Mr. Rajkumar Lila, and Mr. Satish Kagliwal.

Principal Mr Dass gave the welcome address and felicitated the chief guest and trustees with a memento and a sapling. Mr. Satish Mathur praised Mr Dass and his team of efficient teachers for their hard work and dedication to the school. The contribution and constant support provided by the trustees was also deeply appreciated.

Highlighting the importance of discipline, Mr. Devendra Kapadia in his speech mentioned that every student of NVS is gentle, kind, yet confident and disciplined. Mr. Arvind Machhar proudly worded that the motive of the school is the wholesome development of the students.

Later, the merit holders of class 10 and 12 were felicitated for their excellent performance in the board exam. Their hard work was applauded by proud parents and teachers. The Admin Staff was also felicitated for being an excellent support system for the school.

A dance drama based on the theme “I have a dream” was performed by the students followed by a video presentation showcasing the journey of NVS from its inception till date.

The website of the school was re-launched by Shri Rajendra Darda with a new look.

Post – lunch, NVAPL final cricket and Basketball matches were played between the Nath valley team and the Alumni in which NVS beat the Alumni.

Celebrations continued later in the day when the staff, alumni, trustees and the ex-staff members all got together for a special dinner.

The day concluded on a happy note keeping alive the spirit of NVS forever.
